Angles

 Kia Ora Bloggers and welcome back to my blog, this week for maths we were learning about angles. Our create was to make a google drawing or a slide and write about what angles are and why we need to learn them and much more. Our goal for this week was: Measure angles using degrees L3, identify and construct right, acute and obtuse angles, know the number of degrees that make a quater turn, half turn, and a whole turn. Know that the angle at a point 360. Here is my slide show.

Tumu's Birthday Month Graph

 Kia Ora Bloggers and welcome back to my blog, this week for maths we have been learning about Graphs. Today we had to make a Graph about the Tumu hubs birthday Months. We had to create two graphs. I chose to do a stacked chart and a stacked bar chart. The teachers helped us get the data and they wrote it down on a google spreadsheet and we had to make a copy of it and start making our graphs. The teacher called up all the months and if your birthday was in that month you would stand up and they would count how many people were standing. After you had made your graphs you had to write a statement for them.

Reversibility

Pick a Path ( Time )

Kia Ora Bloggers and welcome back to my blog this week for maths we learnt about time. Goal: L3 - Measure time in periods of up to 15 minutes. Our task was to make a pick a path. A pick a path is created on a slide show and you put a questions and then you add 1 right answer and 1 wrong answer. Here is mine

Special Shapes

 Kia Ora bloggers and welcome back to my blog, this week for maths we learnt about shapes. Our goal was: Goal: identify and describe 2D and 3D shapes using mathematical language.

We learnt about 3d shapes and 2d shapes. Our Create was to make a google drawing and put some 3d and 2d shapes on it and then with how many corners it has , how many faces it has , how many edges it has and how many vertices it has. Here is mine!
