Umbrella Writing

Kia Ora Bloggers and welcome back to my blog, this week for writing we wrote a story based on a video we watched. The video was trying to teach people to use Empathy. Empathy is about putting you in someone else's shoes.

Here is the video we watched

We only wrote up to when the girl could not find her umbrella. In the story that we wrote we used lots of adjectives and similes. Here is my story

-Umbrella -

One damp Evening, the door to Miss Elem’s Home for Children opened wide. The girl with the Vibrant glossy yellow umbrella, reverently entered the orphanage before finding a home for her umbrella. Not wanting to be seen. Boris quickly slowly peered his head around the door frame so that he was hidden from view. Standing off to the side the girl observed the happy scene while the children searched in the box hidden treasures. The girl smiled while she watched the young boy flying around the room like a racing car. Her smile dissolved immediately as she saw were puddles of water. Her beloved umbrella had vanished in thin air.

Can you spot any Similes in my story?

Thank you for looking on my blog this week BYE!
