Kia Ora Bloggers and welcome back to my blog, this week for writing we had to make another persuasive text. My Title is "Why Children should be aloud to watch TV on a school night." What do you think? Do your think that children should or should not watch TV on a school night. When I do persuasive texts I like to do a checklist it goes a little like this

Intro stating your opinion and I rhetorical question

3 paragraphs with 3 new ideas

Summary no new ideas

and last a complex, compound and a simple sentence.

Here is my text.

Why Children Should Watch TV on a School Night

Children Should Watch TV on a School Night. Who doesn't want to catch

up on their favorite YouTubers or watch the news to see what is going on?

Well if so let your children watch TV on a school night.

What if you are going back into lockdown and you don’t know, what would

you do? What if your favorite youtube

You can still watch some TV and then you can read a book because

if you watch TV right before you go to bed it could be really bad for you.

If you let your kids watch TV before bed on a school night it might

help them calm down so they sleep better.

And because of the reasons above I truly believe that you should

let your kids watch TV before bed on a school night.

If you don’t let your kids watch TV on a school night they might feel sad.

I think that kids should watch TV on a school night. It's true, kids love watching TV!

Did I persuade you?

Thank you for looking on my blog this week BYE!

  1. Kia ora Ari,
I really like your blog this week. I agree that kids should be able to watch TV at night because if you had to wait an hour till you go to bed then you would be so bored while waiting to go to bed. Yes I think you persuaded me! Did you enjoy making a persuasive text on this topic? I think that aloud is spelled allowed not aloud, other than that I really like your blog this week.
